Aquagold Facial is a first of its kind, patented micro channeling technology, each thinner than a human hair. The device is designed to painlessly and effectively deliver bioactive compounds into the skin, avoiding common complications associated with traditional techniques.
Micro channel mesotherapy is a method of painlessly delivering a substance just below the skin surface where it can work to do such things as increase collagen, improve skin pigment, improve fine lines and wrinkles, and decrease pore size.
Our skin has a very effective outer protective layer called the epidermis or more specifically the stratum corneum layer of the epidermis. This prevents most topical creams from penetrating to the level of the skin where they are designed to work making them virtually ineffective.
Microchannel mesotherapy uses tiny needles smaller than a human hair to penetrate this outer protective layer and deliver any substance below the skin surface. Various mixtures of therapeutic agents can be used in microchannel mesotherapy. The AquaGold Facial device can deliver small aliquats below the skin surface. In this more dilute and superficial dose works differently and functions more specifically on the pilosebaceous units of the skin.
